As an S Group co-op member, you earn Bonus at Silmäasema. Find out below which products and services earn Bonus.
You earn Bonus in Silmäasema stores and online on optometrist services and product purchases such as glasses and sunglasses, contact lenses, and other eye-related supplies. You earn Bonus at our stores when you present your S‑Etukortti and in the online store by logging in or identifying yourself as an S Group co-op member.
Ophthalmologist appointments and Kanta and office fees do not earn Bonus. Purchases paid for with a Silmäasema gift card do not earn Bonus.

At Silmäasema’s eye hospitals, you earn Bonus for private eye surgery with your S-Etukortti when you pay for your treatment at the time of your visit. Bonus is also earned for eyelid and strabismus surgery.
Bonus is earned for up to €500 per eye, and up to €1,000 for surgery on both eyes. This means that depending on the total value of all purchases that qualify for Bonus, you can receive up to 5% back (€25) for surgery on one eye. For surgery on both eyes, the Bonus can be up to €50. Bonus is not earned for minor procedures (e.g. removal of secondary cataracts/YAG) or for surgery paid for with service vouchers. Preliminary examinations and follow-up examinations in connection with eye surgery do not earn Bonus.

The barcode version of the S-Etukortti in the S-mobiili app does not work at Silmäasema. However, the S-Etukortti activated in S-mobiili on an Android phone using NFC contactless technology is accepted at Silmäasema locations. The S-Etukortti added to Apple Wallet does not work at Silmäasema or other S Group Bonus partners, so please remember to bring your physical card. When you identify yourself as a co-op member, you consent to the processing of your personal data to the extent necessary for the Bonus partnership, as well as to Silmäasema disclosing your name, personal identity number and information about payments that earn Bonus to SOK for the purpose of paying the Bonus. The information is required to verify your membership and transaction number and to record the euro amounts of purchases of Bonus-eligible products and services as Bonus purchases with SOK in the S Group’s co‑op member and customer register.
