You can pay for purchases at Silmäasema flexibly in instalments. Financing for glasses and other purchases is available through a Silmäasema account. With a Silmäasema account, you pay in instalments of your choice and benefit from 12 months’ interest-free payment time. The creditor is Resurs Bank.
To streamline the process, we recommend that you apply for credit approval before making a purchase. If you don’t use the Silmäasema account, it doesn’t cost anything. You can therefore apply for credit in advance with confidence. You can also apply for an account at the store at the time of purchase. Form is available in Finnish only.
A Silmäasema account is a convenient way to pay for your purchases at Silmäasema stores. When you receive your invoice, you can repay the full amount immediately or choose the payment option that suits you best. If you pay for your purchase within 12 months, you won’t incur any interest. A Silmäasema account is a credit facility provided by Resurs Bank for customers making purchases at Silmäasema stores. The granting of credit is subject to Resurs Bank's general lending terms and conditions.
Yes. You can purchase products or services sold in stores, such as new glasses. A Silmäasema account provides a flexible financing option for glasses, allowing you to pay for your purchases in convenient instalments.
With a Silmäasema account, you can get up to a year’s interest-free payment time by choosing the 12-month option on your invoice and making the payments according to the schedule. In this case, only a processing fee of €5.60 will be added to the monthly repayment.
If you wish, you can also pay off the entire purchase immediately with the first invoice, in which case you won’t incur any costs.
Apply for an account by filling in the form on the Resurs Bank website (in Finnish only). You will receive credit approval immediately, and the Silmäasema account will be available to you when you’ve signed the credit agreement electronically with your bank credentials.
You can then make purchases in-store by showing a valid ID.
You can apply for an account even before you purchase – this makes the process smoother. If you wish, you can also apply for an account in the store at the time of purchase.
The Silmäasema account is only valid as a payment method for purchases made in Silmäasema stores.
However, you can also pay for eye surgery performed at Silmäasema’s eye hospitals in instalments, but you must apply for a separate Silmäsairaala account. Find out more about the Silmäsairaala account.
