Book an appointment with an optician if you would like to have your vision checked or get new glasses or contact lenses. The optician will help you choose frames and lenses that suit your eyes and, if necessary, refer you to an ophthalmologist.
Book an appointment with an ophthalmologist if you have any concerns about your eye health. Ophthalmologists also carry out eye examinations for children under the age of 8 and for people who have been diagnosed with an eye disease or have undergone eye surgery.
